Ezine advertising is the placement of advertisements in other Ezine Publications to promote your products, services, websites, etc. It is simply an online newsletter following by subscribers to your website. There are thousands or even millions of ezine advertising on the web so this would be something you can take advantage on to your business.

What are the benefits of Ezine Advertising?

- easy to test and track results

However, most people make some common mistakes with Ezine Advertising. Do not try to make a direct sales through ezine advertising because the purpose of ad is to get a click. And it’s a “2 step” process (more later) to follow up with them. Once they opt-in to your site than you can offer than the sales letter in your email. Another mistake that most people commonly make is that they would run just one ad and then give up. A lot of the times, people think it’s doesn’t work so they stop instead of trying different ways. Testing different ads is inexpensive so you want to run at least 3 times to test results to see which ad gets more response. Running multiple times in your ad can increase the chance to succeed.

There are some types of Ezine Advertising to consider:

- Short Classified Type Ads which include top, middle, and bottom, sponsor positions. Generally, the higher you want to be in the newsletter, the better results you are going to expect of having the ad there.

- Solo Advertisements
This gives you the opportunity to have longer copy, more information, more reason for someone to click through into your ad.

- JV/Endorsed Mailings (from the owner of the newsletter)
You don’t need to pay them unless they make a sales for you, so you can go with JV offer and contact them to promote your product with mutual mailing list (cross promotion).

In Classified Ads, there are 2 steps process:

- Step One: Try to make a sale directly from advertisements
- Step Two: Get them curious or give them an incentive to take further action

- Visit a Website, Opt-in, Read Sales Letter

The final step is to “Call To Action”. This is the purpose of the entire ad – to get them to take action! You must TELL THEM WHAT TO DO! Tell them why they should take action and exactly why you want them to do. What you are really telling them to do is to go to your site to get opt-in to your free report or newsletter. It’s the value you are going to drive them in to your website through ezine advertising.

So, how do you get great Ezine Advertising results?

First of all, you need to know the audience you are targeting to. Do you have a message to market match? If you don’t match the right market, you will not get the effective result and end up wasting advertising money.

Secondly, how big is the list? If you have a small targeted audience that create small result, but you are paying small advertisement then it’s not necessary bad. Your Opt-in result usually based on how many people you have sent your ad to.

Thirdly, you also need to measure how responsive they are. This only after you run the newsletter through ezine advertising to find out what happen. This page gives you more room to explain the benefits and include your picture, your name as the publisher, an impressive cover that makes it look like a real magazine, your incentive for subscribing, your privacy policy and a sign up form.

Get more people to opt-in when your ezine publishing looks professional. When you make your e-zine cover look like a real magazine, you will attract more subscribers. Giving your ezine a value will help even more. The next step is to create some written messages that your subscribers see after they complete the form. The first message is a simple thank you, acknowledging that they signed up for your e-zine. It also prompts them to check their email right away to confirm their subscription. Most email list services recommend a double opt-in process for subscription. That means that the initial email message requires that the visitor click a confirmation link to confirm that it was them and not someone else who put them on the list. Once they click that link, they get another message with a welcome, some key benefits of the e-zine and what to expect in terms of frequency of publication. This is a great time to provide them with a free gift – something that you promised as an incentive for their subscription. It might be a free report, coupon, an audio teleclass or even an eBook or software. Ideally it is something electronic that relates to the products or services that you provide. Immediate delivery of your freebie will make it much more attractive. A free pre-recorded teleclass is a great giveaway idea. An Effective E-zine will make you an Expert When your impressive professional e-zine with valuable tips and information shows up in your subscriber’s email, they notice you. This is only true if it becomes a pattern over a period of time. After a while, they look forward to seeing your name in their list of messages.

Email marketing is easy and affordable. There are list services that allow you to automate the whole process. Not all list services offer the same quality product and service. The Many Faces of Online Marketing

Within the last 15 years the face of marketing has changed tremendously. We now have a system in place that can reach around the world in a matter of seconds. And what once took days or even weeks to relay is transformed in the blink of an eye. With that transformation many doors has opened in the form of home based businesses. Today it is possible to have a fully functional business up and running, that is generating great profits and you literally never have to leave the comfort of your home.

Since we have been supposedly online for at least a decade now, there have been a explosion of in home business. People have lost their jobs and many have began their online business due to total necessity. Now what once took thousands of dollars to begin is now being able to be set up with less than a couple of hundred dollars and many times less than that. I have actually known people who have started their online business with less than one hundred dollars who are now retired from their previous jobs, and living the life they always wanted to.

When I’m asked to list some of the ways to get started I like to list, ezine marketing, which is what I am actually doing this very moment. Second, I really like to record so video marketing is my next choice. And as anyone who is associated with the internet know it is very important to establish a list of people that you will market to so email marketing is my third choice. Remember that all these types of marketing techniques are very simple to set up, another of my favorite things to do is blog, because you have the ability to guide people any place you want simple by writing and posting on your blog. And if not the best I will say one of the easiest ways to start a business online without a product is to become an affiliate marketer.

Now another avenue you might want to incorporate is selling ebooks, because you don’t even have to write the book yourself, that’s right you can get what’s called private label rights, and rebranding rights, and actually sell the ebooks as if you wrote them, how cool is that. And many of the places that you would actually market your products or information to are,what’s called social media, that’s right Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and the like. One of the things that I would like to warn you about is watching your time that you invest into building your business, because it’s very easy to get consumed with what you are doing

Just remember to work hard, and play hard.
